Coming onto the scene with a purpose for progression in the industry, New York’s Christian Enjel merged the melodramatic tones of 90s Rock with hip-hop, putting his twist on what we know today as hip-hop. Drawing inspiration from, J. Cole, Drake, and Post Malone, the melting pot of different styles was an unexpected success for the rapper/singer. His debut single, “Bussdown,” which he produced, was just recently released on social media and streaming after his contract ended under an independent partnership. Born Christian Enjel Burnette, he issued the 2017 remix mixtape ‘I’ before releasing a test single “Earned It” at the end of the year. The track led to him from Atlanta, to New York, to Los Angeles in order to establish his industry connections for his LLC. Signing a publishing deal under HOLM Music in July 2018, rocketed Christian into the music industry, helping him build his production, engineering, and business mindsets all while building content.
